mdobe SMS invitations
Verbal consent process
Proposed program for provider review. SMS invitations and a shared sending number are not yet activated.
The invitation is for the live session already being discussed on the call. The recipient does not fill in a form, sign a document or text first.
- The agent is speaking with the client and explains the purpose of viewing the shared screen.
- The agent confirms the mobile number, reads the script below and receives an affirmative answer.
- The agent enters that number, selects Send and then Confirm & send to attest that permission was received.
- mdobe sends one fixed, non-promotional invitation. It records the agent's confirmation, time and script version.
- The client opens the private link. Each later invitation needs new permission. Declining SMS does not prevent use of another invitation method.

May mdobe send one text message to this number with the link to view my screen? Message and data rates may apply. Texting is optional. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Your mobile number and SMS consent will not be shared for marketing. The SMS Terms and Privacy Policy are at mdobe.com/sms-terms and mdobe.com/sms-privacy. Do you agree to receive this one invitation?
If the client declines, the agent cancels sending. If the client agrees, the agent confirms: “Thank you. You will receive one mdobe invitation for this session.”
